Our Vision
THE CENTER is a youth organization dedicated to creating a world where every young person has the opportunity to reach their full potential. We believe that by providing young people with the right support, resources, and opportunities, they can achieve great things and make a positive impact on the world.
Our History
Founded in 2024, THE CENTER is the by product of two 501(c)(3) organizations, Destiny of H.O.P.E. and P.E.A.C.E., collaborating to address an urgent need here in the City of Columbia. Our mission is to create an interactive program where children learn and have safety in an environment whose culture reflect the needed outcomes to raise leaders. With works already performed in the community by these two organizations for years now, THE CENTER is just one more step in the progression of change.
Our Programs
At THE CENTER, we offer a variety of programs designed to meet the unique needs of young people in our community. From academic support through our tutoring program and career readiness. Our programs provide young people with the skills, knowledge, and experience they need to succeed in life.
