VOLUNTEER and CARE JOB PLACEMENT
There are serval opportunities for volunteer work at the P.E.A.C.E. and H.O.P.E. Center for Youth. However, because we are a part of the CARE Program sponsored by the City of Columbia, we are provided limited paid positions for students ages 16-18 to work this summer. The P.E.A.C.E. and H.O.P.E. Center for Youth is always looking for passionate individuals who are committed to making a difference in the lives of young people. Our volunteers play a vital role in mentoring, supporting academic growth, and helping create a safe and empowering environment for youth in our community.
To ensure the safety and well-being of all youth, volunteers must:
- Complete a Volunteer Application
- Pass a background screening:
- Family Care Safety Registry (FCSR)
- Missouri State Highway Patrol screening
- Attend a Volunteer Orientation & Training
- Follow all Center policies and procedures
